Simone P. Joyaux, ACFRE, Adv Dip, has been described as "one of the most thoughtful, inspirational, and provocative leaders in the philanthropic sector worldwide." She specializes in fund development, governance, and strategic planning. She presents worldwide and has written three books, one of which is called Firing Lousy Board Members - And Helping the Others Succeed. As a volunteer, Simone serves regularly on boards. Currently, she is board chair of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. She also chairs the advisory board of the Hartsook Centre for Sustainable Philanthropy, Plymouth University, U.K.
